Key Fob Stolen After Rocks Thrown, Shattering Windows At BMW Of Darien, Police Say

Suspects stole a key fob from a Darien BMW dealership after allegedly shattering several windows with rocks at the facility, police said.

Officers from the Darien Police Department were called to the dealership on Ledge Road shortly before 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, following a report from a delivery driver of broken windows at the building.

Police said that upon arrival, the driver, who was delivering parts, found that a large window on the south side of the reception area had been smashed. Further investigation found several rocks on the floor inside the building near the shattered window.

According to police, a search of the building determined that there were no suspects in the building, but a key fob from one of the desks in the reception area had been taken.
